Senior Estimator – Construction
Location: Fareham | Salary: £35k+ DOE
A leading construction and maintenance provider is seeking an experienced Senior Estimator to join their team.
This role involves managing cost estimates, tender submissions, and procurement for projects ranging from small snagging works to large-scale tenders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare accurate construction and maintenance cost estimates
- Analyse tender documents and prepare competitive bids
- Liaise with clients and subcontractors to ensure cost-effective solutions
- Source materials and negotiate with suppliers
- Maintain strong supplier relationships
Requirements:
- Proven experience in estimating, tendering, and procurement in construction
- Strong knowledge of construction materials, costs, and supplier networks
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and project specifications
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and organisational skills
- Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office
