Salary: £25,000 (FTE £31,250) DOE


20 days holiday (FTE 25 days)

Are you an experienced and highly organised individual with a passion for providing excellent administrative support? Are you a customer focused individual and a team player with an eye for detail?


If so, we have the role for you.


Our prestigious client is looking for a PA/Medical Secretary to join a small and friendly team based in rural Chelwood Gate.


This role will see you playing a crucial part in ensuring smooth operations and delivering exceptional patient care. You will be the first point of contact by phone and email for patients and medical staff across the London and Sussex plastic surgical practice and will be dealing with clinical and medico-legal enquiries, patient appointments, diary management and liaison with patients, GPs, surgical colleagues and solicitors.


You will also have partial responsibility for billings for practice including processing invoices, taking payments, liaising with insurance companies and chasing up late payments.


To be considered for this role, the following will be taken in consideration:



  • You will be a customer focused individual with an excellent telephone manner with the ability to respond to a wide variety of enquiries with kindness and empathy at all times

  • You will have the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment while ensuring work is completed to a high standard with a strong attention to detail

  • You will have the ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical and professional standards

  • You will be flexible and adaptable to changing priorities and able to work independently as well as part of a team

  • You will have had previous experience in a relevant facing role

  • You may have medical secretarial experience

  • You may have knowledge of medical terminology, procedures, and documentation requirements.
