Trainee Legal Assistant – Tunbridge Wells – £20,000 - £23,000 – Office Based

 Key Responsibilities of the Trainee Legal Assistant:

• Assisting solicitors and fee earners with a wide range of legal and administrative tasks


• Drafting legal documents and preparing correspondence, statements, and letters of advice


• Conducting legal research and keeping up to date with changes in legislation


• Liaising with clients, courts, and third parties


• Supporting the team with client meetings


• Organising and maintaining legal files and case documentation


• Handling confidential client information with professionalism and discretion


• General administrative duties including managing new enquiries and supporting casework

About You:

• Degree educated with a 2:1 or above (law or non-law)


• Some experience in a paralegal or legal support role preferred


• Excellent written and verbal communication skills


• Strong attention to detail and highly organised


• Proactive, willing to learn, and able to work both independently and as part of a team


• Professional, discreet, and calm under pressure


• Passionate about helping clients and delivering excellent service
