We are excited to offer an excellent opportunity for an Accounts Assistant at a thriving construction business. Lloyd Recruitment Services have partnered with a business based in Crawley who are in search of an Accounts Assistant to join their growing team.

Position Summary


The Accounts Assistant will be working alongside other Accounts Assistants in the office and the Head Office Accounts team, with Accounts related administration and tasks.


What is in it for you?

  • Monday to Friday, 35 hours a week

Responsibilities and Duties



  • Managing and overseeing Credit Control processes

  • Generating and approving customer invoices

  • Addressing and resolving invoice queries

  • Setting up and managing Direct Debit customers and payments

  • Overseeing weekly/monthly payments runs

  • Reviewing supplier statements and following up on outstanding invoices

  • Monitoring the Accounts inbox and addressing email queries

  • Checking and managing supplier account credit limits

  • Updating Commercial Clients spreadsheets with costs


Desirable skills and Experience



  • Previous experience working within an Accounts/Finance team

  • Proficiency in accounting software, particularly NetSuite (desirable but training provided)

  • Strong MS skills, especially Excel

  • Experience with a background in the construction/industrial/utilities industry (desirable)

  • Due to the location - own transport is required
