Bookkeeper

About the Role:

We are searching for an individual to join a thriving, Caterham based business as an experienced Bookkeeper, where you will be a key player in their growth and success!

• £30,000 – £35,000 DOE


• Pension plan


• On-site parking


• Monday to Friday, 9am - 5:15pm

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up new clients on various accounting software.


• Maintain accurate records and perform reconciliations to provide trial balances for year-end accounts.


• Generate reports and analyse data for management accounts and internal use.


• Assist clients with daily software queries and data access.


• Communicate with clients to gather information for VAT and quarterly accounts.


• Handle VAT registrations and situations like domestic reverse charge.

Your Skills:

• AAT or equivalent.


• Proven bookkeeping experience in an accounting practice.


• Proficiency in Xero, QuickBooks, and Sage.


• Strong communication skills for client interaction.


• Experience reporting up to Trial Balance.


• Competency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
