Lloyd Recruitment Services have partnered with a leading business in Crawley who are in search of a HR Officer to grow their team.

Position Summary
The HR Officer will be reporting into the HR Manager but will have various interactions throughout the organisation. This role provides the opportunity to collaborate with and assist different departments across the business.
What is in it for you?
Salary up to £35,000
Opportunity for full time and part time - fixed term contract
Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5:30pm
28 days a year to include bank holidays

Public transport costs, or mileage for travel from base office to other locations can be recovered through expenses
Free onsite parking – Own transport is required
Hybrid working
Responsibilities and Duties:
Staying current with developments in employment law to guarantee adherence to compliance standards
Advising line managers on issues related to performance management and employment law
Taking charge of the disciplinary and grievance process from initiation to resolution
Collaborating on TUPE transfers to ensure smooth transitions
Conducting HR law training sessions for the Operations team
Collecting and presenting HR reports to senior management
Participating in the recruitment process and building a healthy staff pool
Contributing to the improvement of staff welfare initiatives
Desirable skills and Experience:
Acquire a HR related degree or a minimum Level 5 CIPD qualification
Demonstrate a commitment to integrity and confidentiality
Willingness to undergo DBS clearance and international checks if applicable
Proven track record in managing employee relations cases and overall HR responsibilities
Familiarity with current UK employment law practices and TUPE transfers
Self-motivated with strong organisational skills
Proficient in MS Office Packages
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage with colleagues at all levels
Spanish speaking would be an advantage
Interest in social and environmental responsibility, alignment with B Corp ethics desirable
Own transport due to location
Additional visits to clients’ sites in London and other areas around the UK are required, with an occasional overnight stay
