It’s a bit of tricky role to explain, as there are elements of negotiation, sourcing, buying, sales, account management and some legal and compliance aspects thrown in as well.
Ultimately, we need someone able to manage and negotiate contracts and services with existing and new companies/suppliers within the UK and Europe.
It’s a key role and will call upon your abilities to gain the most competitive rates and terms available at all times. You’ll also be sourcing and approaching potential new suppliers and partners to improve and increase product range.
You’ll be encouraged to get a greater understanding of the wider business, which combined with the above, will help them to remain competitive in their field, and exceed demands of their growing client base.
Opportunities to visit clients in the UK & Europe will arise from time to time, as well as industry events and exhibitions, so you’ll need to be happy with occasional overnight hotel stays.
If you are fluent French all the better, but other European languages would be very useful.
