- Lloyd Recruitment Services are pleased to be working with a leading business on the outskirts of Uckfield who are currently in search of a part time Customer Service Advisor to join their team on a fixed term contract until December 2024.
Position Summary
The Customer Service Advisor will be responsible for providing an excellent service to new and existing customers. You will carry out order processing, communicating with team members to ensure customer orders are fulfilled in a timely manner.
The Customer Service Advisor will actively engage with process improvements, ensuring the timely completion of tasks, making sure processes and compliance are followed and service levels are maintained and adhered to.

Essential Skills & Experience
Solid administrative skills with strong attention to detail and a high level of data accuracy
Intermediate skills in Microsoft Suite; Outlook, Excel, Word, and Power Point
Excellent communication skills with a customer centric approach
Excellent time management and prioritisation skills
The ability to work autonomously within a fast-paced environment
Working experience of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Minimum 2 years’ experience in customer services environment (essential)
Desirable Skills & Experience
Open and maintain customer accounts by recording account information
Provide exceptional customer service in response to consumer/customer enquiries and complaints
Respond and attend to a high volume of emails, calls and other consumer contact in a timely, professional, and efficient manner
Prioritise all complaints and enquiries to attend to the most serious or escalated cases first, within the set timeframes
Follow correct protocols when handling complaints and enquiries
Liaise with wider team (such as Finance, Operations and Sales & Marketing teams) to ensure enquiries and complaints are resolved within the required timeframe
Maintain accurate records are kept for all enquiries and complaints
Processing orders, managing PO acknowledgments & resolution of B2B non–compliance incidents in conjunction with internal/external stakeholders
Manage customer order life cycle procedures and protocols to ensure best practices outcomes for service level results
Manage customer specific seasonal stock flow plans
Manage returns and credits processes
Manage transition of SKU codes
Resolve any escalated outbound distribution issues e.g., late deliveries, refusals etc
Manage stock issues with customers
Build strong working relationships with internal and external customers
Attend and participate in meetings as required
Hold informative and actionable weekly/fortnightly WIP with line manager
Foster an environment of cross team communications and co-operation
Make outbound calls to customers to maintain and build good relationships
