Our client is looking for an experienced Operations Manager to join their growing business, where you will be responsible for a team of fifteen agents and two Team Leaders.
Due to the nature of the industry, we are looking for someone who has gained their experience from working in a regulated industry, ideally gained within Insurance or Financial Services.
The Role:
Ensuring the department delivers excellent and efficient customer service across all platforms.
Assisting with departmental changes and developments.
Helping to develop digital experiences for customers.
Closely liaise with all heads of departments to ensure structure across the company.
Duties:
Managing the operations area to deliver a quality service in an efficient and cost effect manner.
Securing and analysing data to enhance customer service at minim operational expense.
Liaising with Counter-Fraud Intelligence Analyst to devise strategies & increase overall awareness.
Optimising capability for customers to fully transact online.
Planning & organisation of project delivery self-training & development.
Ensuring that Consumer Duty is fully adhered to at all times.
Identifying risks and building and performing effective controls.
Ideal candidate will:
Be a confident leader with strong people management skills and a proven ability to motivate employees.
Experience in leading and managing the delivery of outstanding service to customers within a team environment and have the ability to adapt to the different needs.
Have a strong understanding of FCA operational guidelines, preferably within a regulated environment.
Have the ability to analyse and digest business reporting data and experience in managing risk.
Must have a strong understanding of underwriting and come from an Insurance or Financial Services background.
