- Lloyd Recruitment Services are pleased to be working with a reputable business in the Lancing area who are currently in search of an IT Systems Engineer to join their team on a full-time permanent basis.
The IT Systems Engineer will help with the development and maintenance of all aspects of technology within the business. You will be tasked with various technology projects which will require you to work with end users to create solutions to various challenges around the company. In addition, the IT Systems Engineer will be the primary point of IT support for approx. 100 users within the business. Support work should take up no more than 25% of the working week, with the remaining 75% spent working on projects.

Key duties:
Provisioning, configuring, maintaining and pro-actively monitoring the IT infrastructure (both cloud and on premises)
Identifying and participating in initiatives to improve all aspects of how technology is deployed within the company
Integrating and customising systems, automating processes, developing software
Providing day-to-day IT support for both office and field-based users, including 40+ service engineers
Specify, purchase, and provision new IT equipment and maintain the company IT asset management system
Creating and maintaining technical documentation.
Essential skills / knowledge:
An understanding of all the key technologies deployed in a typical company – TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, Active Directory, Firewalls, Printers, VMware, Microsoft Office 365, Microsoft Windows 10/11, Server 2016 and 2019 operating systems
Good organisation/project management skills
A basic understanding of scripting/software development/programming
A minimum of 2 years’ experience in IT
Some familiarity with any of the following, whilst not essential, would be nice to have:
Azure - Logic Apps/Functions/Table Storage/APIM/DevOps
Basic knowledge of programming in C# (or similar)
Git/GitHub/Azure DevOps
PowerShell
Epicor ERP (or any ERP systems really) REST APIs
MDM
Relational Databases and MS SQL Server
IP Telephony
SolidWorks PDM
