Lloyd Recruitment Services is excited to collaborate with a thriving independent family-run business located near Oxshott. They are currently seeking a part-time Patient Concierge to join their growing team on a fixed term contract until May 2024.

What's in it for you?

 



  • Competitive hourly rate: £12.80 per hour


  • Part-time position: 15 hours a week (2 days a week)


  • Part time contract until May 2024


 

Role Summary:

 

This role involves supporting critical processes that drive the business, including regular interaction with the Medical Director, directors, managers, customers, suppliers, and other external parties. It's a hands-on position that fully immerses you in the company's day-to-day operations.

 

Key Accountabilities:

 



  • Manage the patient journey from the initial consultation to surgery


  • Take responsibility for assigned patients, ensuring follow-up until surgery is scheduled, and maintain accurate records


  • Meet conversion rate targets from consultation to surgery


  • Handle challenging patient situations, collaborating with senior managers to reach satisfactory resolutions


  • Proactively anticipate patient concerns and needs throughout the treatment process, providing a personalised and top-tier patient experience


  • Ensure seamless patient flow within the clinic


  • Manage wait times effectively, communicating clearly to manage patient and consultation expectations


  • Maintain a welcoming reception environment that promotes excellent customer service


 

Key Responsibilities:

 



  • Deliver exceptional customer service to patients and visitors


  • Possess strong communication skills


  • Work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment


  • Maintain proficiency in written and spoken English


  • Be flexible with working hours, especially to cover late finishes on clinical/surgery days


  • Pay close attention to detail and complete checklists accurately


  • Maintain a professional appearance


  • Handle payments for services and products


  • Offer exceptional customer service to instil confidence in patients choosing our care


  • Answer phone calls and address inquiries or requests


  • Respond to patient queries via email, letter, and phone


  • Perform data entry in our in-house systems


  • Provide general administrative support to the team


  • Handle document copying, scanning, and filing


  • Prepare clinics with patient files and ensure documentation is up-to-date


  • Ensure prompt attention to all correspondence and maintain accurate records


  • Manage the sign-in and sign-out process for all patients and visitors


  • Conduct post-operative courtesy calls to patients


 

Key Skills and Experience:

 



  • Essential experience and confidence in telephone call handling in an office setting


  • Outgoing and confident personality, with strong problem-solving skills and adaptability


  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel


  • Strong interpersonal skills


  • Effective organisational skills and attention to detail


  • Polite and professional demeanour


  • Ability to work as part of a team while taking individual accountability


  • Willingness to learn new tasks and assume responsibility
