- Lloyd Recruitment Services are pleased to be working with a reputable business based in Beckton who are currently in search of a Van Driver to join their team.
Our client is looking for full time Van Driver to ensure goods are transported to customers in a safe and efficient manner.

5:30am – 3:30pm – if you work through your lunch leave 1 hour early most days
Monday to Friday – no weekends
Currently have 15 people in the team & looking to grow YOY
Mostly in/around London but do have runs to Kent, South Coast, Norwich, Birmingham etc
Key responsibilities:
Transport construction materials, tools, and equipment to and from construction sites and supplier
Safely load and unload materials, tools, and equipment from the van
Ensure proper handling and secure items to prevent damage during transit
Adhere to all safety regulations and guidelines while driving and working onsite
Maintain the cleanliness and good condition of the company van
Perform routine vehicle maintenance checks and report any issues promptly
Keep accurate records of deliveries, including dates, times, and materials transported
Follow established routes and schedules for deliveries, optimising efficiency
Communicate with the team to coordinate delivery and pickup schedules
Provide excellent customer service when interacting with clients and suppliers
Handle any required paperwork, such as delivery receipts and invoices
Adhere to company policies and procedures related to van operation and safety
Assist with general labour tasks on sites as needed
Maintain a professional and courteous attitude at all times when representing the company
Perform other related duties and responsibilities as assigned by the company
Role requirements:
Previous van driving experience essential, ideally multi-drop
Construction industry experience (desirable)
Valid UK driving licence (essential)
Customer service experience
Excellent interpersonal skills
Self-motivated
Flexible and adaptable
