- Lloyd Recruitment Services are working with a leading manufacturer in the local area who are currently looking to expand their manufacturing/warehouse. They are currently recruiting for an experienced Stock Controller to join their team on a fulltime, permanent basis.
Predominantly this is a hands-on role, keeping the storage area and stock content in good order, managing the stock and warehouse. The role will involve administration so it’s imperative that you are computer literate.

Working hours: Monday – Friday 9:00am – 4:30pm

Key responsibilities:
Receive, unload and store incoming goods into designated areas checking items against relevant documentation
Receive and distribute equipment, tools, etc
Check the condition of all goods and report damage as needed
Preparation of goods for production (kitting) dispatch; picking, collating, and packaging
Ensure stock is safely stored
Monitor stock levels and re-order as required, keeping accurate records
Participate in stock counts/check on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis
Collaborate with the Buyer to ensure timely supply of materials
Maintain excellent communication with other departments to ensure efficient stock movement
The position entails working closely with operations, servicing and aftersales and to organise the efficient flow and management of stock
Adhere to health and safety regulations, ensuring a clean and hazard free working environment
Use of company vehicle on an ad-hoc basis
Key skills
Forklift experience (desirable)
Driver’s licence (essential)
Good understanding of health & safety
Good IT skills
Previous experience within goods movement and/or warehouse environment
Excellent organisational skills
A strong understanding of end-to-end supply chain and operational processes
Background in stores position
