 Our client primarily operates across the south of the UK and is an established IT company with a world-class reputation for providing IT Projects, Support, and Consultative services for over 20 years!

 The role:
 
 As the Business Development Executive, you will work directly for senior management and develop sales opportunities for the business. This role is pivotal to the business’ growth and has the potential to develop into many other areas.
 
 You will be responsible for lead generation across all services, including account research, prospect identification and outbound prospecting. You will create connections with IT decision makers via the phone, email, LinkedIn, and a variety of other creative ways with the goal of starting a conversation around the company’s core services, to identify customer pain points & goals, with the objective of working with the company.
 
 Your responsibilities will include:
 
 
 Establishing solid pipelines of potential leads and opportunities to cultivate qualified prospects, ultimately leading to successful sales.
 Outbound prospecting via various channels including phone, email, social, and video
 Profiling and penetrating key accounts targets
 Prospecting for the right opportunities within the agreed target accounts
 Qualifying and converting leads into opportunities
 Creating leads/attendees for campaigns and events
 Articulating companies’ services, values, and approach
 Attending meetings both in person and remotely
 Attend various exhibitions and tradeshows to network with industry professionals
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 About You
 
 Our leading client is looking for intelligent, creative, and hardworking people who are eager to develop their knowledge within Managed IT Services.
 
 Our client’s market is fast paced and competitive, so you’ll need to be a self-starter with a positive attitude.
 
 To be successful in your application as Business Development Executive, you will need to have or be:
 
 
 Strong previous experience as a Business Development Executive, Business Development Consultant or Sales Executive, preferably within IT / Technology (3 years)
 Experience of new business development from cold calling
 A strong desire to hunt for new business and make new contacts
 A self-starter, hardworking, results driven individual
 Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
 Writing and sending introduction emails to potential clients promoting the company
 Booking a minimum of 5 meetings per month
 A strong team player with a positive mental attitude
