As an Architectural Consultant you will play a vital role in specifying solutions to architects, specifiers, and consultants. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to the transformation of our client’s business.

Responsibilities:
Handle telephone, website, and email inquiries in a prompt and professional manner
Generate specifications and leads
Track opportunities where specification has been provided and facilitate the quotation request process
Collaborate with the marketing team to maintain NBS Specifications
Liaise closely with the product and marketing teams to ensure up-to-date specifications and literature on BIM and NBS platforms
Visit Architects/Specifiers when required
Attend online NBS/BIM events
Assist in the production of CPD's (Continuing Professional Development)
Present CPD's to Architects/Specifiers, either online or in person
Deal with inbound enquiries, qualify, quote, and track them
Provide CRM reports and administrative support to the UK Sales Manager
Assist field salespeople with their administration requirements
Qualify relevant inbound leads
Ensure prompt contact and accurate follow-up dates for all quotations on the CRM system
Maintain accurate and up-to-date Contractor records and information
Manage Contractor Supplier Portals to maintain approval level
Complete and submit Pre-Qualifying Questionnaires within allocated timeframes
Provide analytical data on sales team performance versus targets
Create monthly presentations based on previous month's sales/orders
Perform any other reasonable tasks expected in this role
Qualifications, Experience, and Competences:
Essential:
Proven, demonstrable experience working with architects and specifiers
Specification writing skills
Knowledge of NBS and BIM and their applications
Previous experience in a busy telephone/IT-based customer service role
Confident telephone manner
Experience presenting to groups of people
General office/business administration experience
Ability to produce presentations
Good literacy and numeracy skills (GCSE level or equivalent)
Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, Outlook, and Word
Understanding of layout drawings/site plans
Resilience and persistence in handling pressure without impacting performance
Strong teamwork and communication skills (verbal and written)
Flexibility and adaptability to accommodate organisational and operational changes
Excellent planning and organisational skills to meet deadlines and process time-bound inquiries
Ability to work independently using own initiative
Analytical problem-solving skills
Ability to multitask effectively
Desirable:
Previous sales administration experience
Experience with Dynamics 365 CRM or another sales database
Previous experience dealing with Architectural Practices and Advisors/Consultants or similar
Familiarity with BIM Objects and NBS Source
Experience in completing Pre-Qualifying Questionnaires (PQQ's)
Direct marketing experience, including lead generation, seminar booking, and mail shots
