We are seeking a BI Engineer to be involved in the planning, designing and development of innovative digital solutions for our client.
Implementation for Modern DW (MPP Database and BI Tools – Power BI / Tableau / Qlik)
Power BI Premium Service, Azure Analysis Service, Tabular Modeling, REST API, XMLA Endpoint, Dataflows in PBI
Knowledge of Agile processes (Scrum preferred)
Proficiency in extracting and manipulating large data sets with T-SQL, DAX, MDX and Python
Designing and building large-scale, distributed systems
Experience of various database and modelling (MS SQL, Azure Synapse, MariaDB)
Ability to communicate complex ideas effectively
Able to work with the customer’s stakeholders to understand business and technical requirements
Experience with complex data modelling
Able to identify and communicate issues/risks applying technical and root cause analysis skills
Strong decision making, problem solving, and analytical skills
You will have a deep understanding of:
Azure and/or AWS
Power BI / Qlik / Tableau
Azure SQL / Azure Synapse / Azure Analysis Service
C#/.NET
Python
Azure Data Services/Azure SQL Data Warehouse
Restful API
