- Description
- Lloyd Recruitment Services are looking for an experienced Finance Assistant to join our client based in Leatherhead for a 3-month contract, starting immediately.
Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 5pm paying £14PH.
Supporting the Senior Finance Assistant, you will assist with accounts payable ledger activities such as processing invoices and expenses and supporting with the maintenance of the purchase order system.
Other duties will include:
Creating Vendors
Loading invoices & Credit notes
Prompt Payment reporting
Preparing Dynamics Journals when required
Processing expenses
Preparing Payment run
Support Supplier Statement reconciliations
Processing daily transfer journals and daily trial balance
Deal with Supplier queries (email & telephone) once fully trained.
Management of the credit card database and monthly recs
Weekly payment runs
Create Payment Entries for Direct Debit and Manually paid Invoices/PO’s/Expenses
Match invoices to PO’s
Assist with the maintenance of E-request system – new users, cost centres, updated AP mandates.
Ideal candidate will:
Ability to work under pressure, with strong attention to detail.
Proactive, enthusiastic with hands on approach, able to work on own initiative.
Good written and verbal communication.
Excellent numeric and analytical skills.
Previous experience within a similar role is essential.
