Location:Northampton
Salary:£32k + benefits
Join our client, a fast-growing technology company, as a 2nd Line Application Support Technician. In this role, you'll provide technical support to both internal and external users, ensuring smooth operation of their infrastructure and systems.
Responsibilities:
Deliver excellent customer service to all users
Communicate effectively via phone, email, and remote software tools
Organise and prioritise support issues
Maintain support tickets and provide timely resolutions
Update product documentation and Knowledge Base
Conduct user testing and report findings to the development team
Engage in internal projects for personal and professional development
Skills & Experience:
Previous experience in a 2nd/3rd line service desk role
Strong customer service skills
Knowledge of software application support, ideally EDM, ERP/Accounting Software/Invoice Processing
Proficiency in Microsoft Operating Systems, Client and Server
Familiarity with Microsoft SQL Server and SQL scripting
Understanding of network concepts and troubleshooting
Experience with Azure, virtual environments, and writing SQL reports (preferred)
