Role overview:
As a Commercial Director, you will play a pivotal role in driving the company's growth and profitability by managing the product and service life cycles. You will be responsible for identifying new opportunities, enhancing customer engagement, and developing strategic partnerships. By leading the Commercial Division, you will contribute to the company's overall success and achieve revenue targets.

Key responsibilities:
Strategy:
Develop and execute a comprehensive commercial strategy aligned with the company's growth objectives
Identify and prioritise target organisations for new business development and revenue growth
Drive the commercialisation of innovative propositions and services
Partnership and business development:
Identify and establish strategic partnerships to enhance the company's market profile and impact
Assess the potential value of opportunities and prioritise those with the highest potential
Present compelling pitches and proposals to new and existing clients
Foster strong internal and external collaboration to maximise partnership outcomes
People management:
Lead a small team of 3, inspire a high-performing Commercial Division, promoting a positive and collaborative culture
Support the professional development of team members, enabling their growth and success
Operations:
Monitor and report on performance and service delivery to internal stakeholders and clients
Ensure successful contracting processes with clients and third-party suppliers, meeting/exceeding key performance indicators (KPIs)
Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and efficient project implementation
Compliance:
Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, data privacy laws, and industry best practices
Uphold the company's ethical standards and policies
Requirements:
Proven track record as a Commercial Director or in a similar senior leadership role
Strong business acumen and strategic mindset, with a focus on driving revenue growth and profitability
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
Ability to build and nurture strategic partnerships, both locally and globally
Results-driven and highly motivated, with a track record of achieving targets
Adaptable to a fast-paced, dynamic environment and able to thrive under pressure
Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; an MBA or advanced degree is a plus
