 The position of Data Analyst will sit within a small team and will report into our Purchasing Manager.
 
 About the role
 
 The Data Analyst will work closely with our Purchasing Manager focusing on product management, analytics and purchasing. The successful candidate will be working with data and Excel Spreadsheets and must have an analytical mind.
 
 Data Analyst Responsibilities
 
 Build strong relationships with suppliers and internal customers
 Data analysis inputting, price comparison and sanity checking of information within set time frames using Excel and CRM
 Use of analytical problem-solving skills in providing information/ suggestions to Account Managers
 Ensure the correct process, housekeeping and accurate information is provided within CRM
 Liaising with Accounts and Purchasing Management team on analysis and supplier related queries
 Complete any ad hoc tasks that have been issued by the Purchasing Manager
 Constantly be driven to make improvements to current working processes
 Considering and suggesting alternative approaches/products to increase potential savings
 Forecasting sales and product usage, considering all factors which could impact the customer receiving their product
 Examine and adjust ROPS based on monthly predicted/ actual usage

 Good maths ability
 Customer focussed
 Strong attention to detail
 Good team player
 Very good communication skills, both internally and externally
 Good Time Management
 Ability to spot numerical inaccuracies.
 Methodical and Organised
 Process Driven but still able to think outside the box
 Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (especially proficient in Excel) and CRM data bases.
 Ability to self-motivate and plan and prioritise own workload
