Lloyd Recruitment Services is delighted to partner with a leading company currently seeking a Finance Assistant to join their organisation on a 6-month fixed-term contract.  Potential to go perm.

 

Salary £25k - £27k

Monday to Friday

 

Are you ready for a new challenge? We have an urgent requirement for a temporary professional to join the Finance department. This position demands a strong administrative background with some finance experience, encompassing tasks such as invoice generation, purchase order matching, bank reconciliations, filing, ad hoc administrative responsibilities, and proficiency in Excel. The ideal candidate will be methodical, detail-oriented, capable of working independently, and comfortable with potentially repetitive tasks.

 

As a Finance Assistant you will primarily support the Credit Controller and play a crucial role in streamlining financial operations.

 

Key responsibilities:

 



  • Raise accurate and timely invoices


  • Match purchase orders to invoices


  • Conduct bank reconciliations


  • Handle filing tasks efficiently


  • Perform various ad hoc administrative duties


  • Utilise Excel to manage financial data effectively


  • Demonstrate a methodical approach and exceptional attention to detail


  • Work independently, maintaining productivity and meeting deadlines


  • Exhibit resilience in tackling potentially repetitive tasks


 

Requirements:

 



  • Previous experience in administrative roles, with a background in finance.


  • Familiarity with raising invoices, matching purchase orders, and bank reconciliations.


  • Strong organisational skills and ability to handle administrative tasks efficiently.


  • Proficient in Excel and basic computer literacy.


  • Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.


  • Ability to work independently and maintain productivity.


  • Resilience to handle potentially repetitive and tedious tasks.
