- Senior Motion Designer
This is initially a 12 month FTC, which is likely to become a rolling contract.
We are seeking a talented Senior Motion Designer to join our client’s creative team.
The successful candidate will be:
Responsible for developing and executing high-quality motion graphics for a variety of digital platforms.
Mentoring and leading junior designers
Collaborating with other teams to ensure consistency and coherence in all visual communications.
Key duties:
Design scripts and storyboards
Analyse data to suggest best topics / features for video content
Shoot and edit filming
Take screen recordings and edit
Manage video inventory
Create lifestyle and animated video content
Manage/prioritise all video tickets
Suggest creative ideas
Attend internal style guide / editorial meetings
Edit videos and screen recordings for translated versions
Liaise directly with stakeholders
Propose new ideas for continuous improvement
Create an array of videos i.e. how-to, promotional, end-of-year
Keep up-to-date with style guide and adapt video content accordingly
Manage external music library access
Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Motion Design, Graphic Design, or related field.
At least 5 years of experience in motion design
Experienced using Jira / Confluence
In-depth experience with: Adobe After Effect, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Premiere, Adobe Media Encoder and Photoshop and any other motion design software
A strong portfolio that demonstrates expertise in motion design, animation, and storytelling
Experience managing and mentoring junior designers
