** 6 Month FTC ** £25,000 to £26,000 **
Due to the expansion of their company, we are seeking an Accounts Clerk to join our client, to support the Finance Team Leader and the Management Accountant as they review data quality and perform essential maintenance of their existing ledgers.
You will assist in the improvement of our ledgers data (Sales, Purchase and General ledger account) to prepare the business for the implementation.
Following the implementation, the Accounts Clerk will be critical in actioning resolutions and fixes which are identified by the project team or business as we bed in the new system.
Duties:
Reviewing, improving, and maintaining data quality in the existing sales ledger, purchase ledger and other ledgers as required.
Sourcing (through research, liaising with the wider business and customer & supplier calls) and imputing essential mandatory data required for the new system
Performing ledger clean-up tasks and data reconciliations as required
Carrying out tests on data to check its suitability for use in the new system
Engaging with the Project Team as needed to answer emerging questions or to provide requested data
Providing status updates to various stakeholders and contributing to the conversation as the transition takes place
