Salary £35k-£40k depending on experience plus bonus

Job Purpose:
This is a full-time position for an experienced Executive Assistant to provide support to the Sales Director of a leading construction hire company. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the Sales Director's communications, diary, and general workload, as well as assisting with various projects and initiatives. The position requires a high degree of confidentiality, initiative, and organisational skills, as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Key Duties:
• Act as the first point of contact for enquiries directed at the Sales Director.
• Proactively manage the Sales Director's diary and schedule, including arranging travel, accommodation, meetings, and preparing itineraries.
• Manage the Sales Director's inbox, ensuring key communications are dealt with promptly.
• Build strong relationships with key stakeholders throughout the organisation.
• Ensure effective use of time by preparing papers and information in advance.
• Draft correspondence and develop documents such as presentations, reports, and quotations.
• Project management, including overseeing multiple projects and initiatives from inception to completion.
• Assist with the monthly sales meetings, including organising the agenda, venue, and taking and distributing notes.
• Coordinate arrangements for meetings, exhibitions, and other events both internally and externally.
• Provide day-to-day support and management to the Sales Administrator.
• Provide additional support to the Senior Management Team, Sales Manager and Sales Team where needed.
• Coordinate starters and leavers in the Sales Team, including equipment and induction.
• Coordinate a range of personal affairs including the Sales Director's private work and arranging vehicle care and maintenance.
Key Competencies:
• Extensive experience in a similar EA role (5 years minimum).
• Comfortable working autonomously and making decisions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Well organised with the ability to juggle several tasks simultaneously.
• Excellent administration and organisation skills.
• Thrive under pressure with the ability to prioritise and adapt to change.
• Ability to handle confidential and sensitive material.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
Salary £35k-£40k plus bonus
