Our client is a globally renowned technology company, who are looking for an experienced Data Engineer to join their team as an Azure System Manager.
You’ll be a cross functional team player, with a strong mix of technical and functional experience in product information management and content management. An SME who is fully versed with Data Scientist working practices. They are keen that you’ll be a team member who actively promotes the positive drive of business innovation and process improvements throughout their UK, European and Head Office.
Main responsibilities will include:
Data modelling and implementation
ETL and ELT implementations
Azure Synapse Database Administration
Machine Learning / Data Science
Duties:
Manage machine learning algorithms in production
Design and implement processes to monitor and report on model performances
Review, retrain, and improve on existing models
Liaise with business and suggest new areas to apply new models to help achieve business objectives
Design, build and implement new machine learning models
Desirable Skills:
Extensive Python experience
Azure Data Factory / PySpark
Database: Azure Synapse, Azure SQL, SQL Server, Maria DB
Modelling : Tabular Model (Azure Analysis Service)
Tools : Azure Data Factory, Azure DataBricks, SSIS (PolyBase), VS
Languages: T-SQL, DAX, MDX, Python, PowerShell (API)
