- Our client is urgently seeking an experienced Facilities Manager to join them initially in a temporary position.

3 month temporary contract
Daily rate / Weekly pay
Monday to Friday
Responsibilities:
Serve as the deputy for the Facilities Services Leads and assist the Facilities Services GB Lead
The ability to travel to other office locations across the UK to support projects, hold face-to-face meetings, and cover periods of absence within the team is required
Communicate with building management about services in the building's common areas
Hosting and supporting client meetings, including providing hospitality
Maintenance / Waste Management / Recycling
Communicate with the Facilities Services GB Lead and Facilities Services Leads about service levels/KPIs and business needs.
Maintains and assists service provider managers in adhering to service levels and key performance indicators
Confidently and professionally communicate with colleagues, users, and service partners on a regular basis to discuss issues, costing, evaluating, and improving methods
Manage operational expenditure ensuring services are delivered on or under pre-agreed budget, and authorise expenditure within those boundaries
To put the interests of clients and the company’s values at the heart of the way you do business
What will you need?
Previous experience in a facilities role
Strong financial management skills, including the ability to monitor budgets on a monthly basis
Excellent communication skills, including the ability to communicate with stakeholders at all levels
Worked in a fast-paced environment and is comfortable dealing with ambiguity and competing priorities
Excellent negotiation skills and strong project management/organisational skills
Team player with a positive can-do attitude
Proficient in all MS Office applications, particularly MS Excel with a keen interest in technology
Experience in data analysis and summarisation as well as report production
