- 2nd Line Helpdesk Technician: Up to £40k DOE – Redhill
You will be responsible for handling escalations and troubleshooting complex and extensive issues for clients. Communicating confidently via phone and email, you will have gained previous experience within a similar role / environment.
You will be joining a growing and reputable business, with excellent staff retention. As they are a close-knit and friendly team, we are looking for an individual who is also a team player.
Responsibilities:
Serve as a second point of contact for customers' IT issues, incidents, and requests via phone calls, emails, and tickets
Maintain a high level of customer service and assume responsibility/ownership for support queries from beginning to end, escalating as needed
Establish effective working relationships with customers and third-party partners
Assist with project work and new customer onboardings as needed
Skills & Expertise:
Have worked for a minimum of two/three years in an MSP or similar environment
Understand Microsoft Windows-based technologies (such as Active Directory), servers (such as Hyper-V, VMware, and Dell), and virtual desktops (I.e., Citrix, RDS), Networking (including switches and firewalls), Backups (i.e., Veeam, off site)
You are a highly organised person with an eagle eye for detail
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and a firm believer in the power of communication
Able to work some (paid) overtime on a regular basis, as is the nature of working in IT
