Description



Lloyd Recruitment Services are pleased to be working with a leading global organisation based in Leatherhead, looking for a finance assistant to join the team.

 




As a finance assistant your role will be to work alongside the finance manager assisting and supporting with all areas of the business accounts. The ideal candidate will have a strong background within similar roles and be a team player who is able to multitask.

 




This is going to be an office based role – the hours are flexible to suit you and can be full or part time.

Duties and Responsibilities:





  • Send out monthly statements to customers




  • Chase for payment updates and any outstanding payments




  • Assist with monthly inventory stock check




  • Assist with preparations for annual audit schedules




  • Upkeep audit of sales orders and chase any necessary documents




  • Email invoices to budget holders for approval




  • Raise purchase orders, sales orders and invoices




  • Prepare expense journal to be reviewed by finance manager







Required Skills & Experience





  • Previous experience within a similar accounts/finance role




  • Educated to degree level or AAT qualified etc (desirable)




  • Thorough and meticulous attention to detail




  • Solid experience of working with customers and suppliers




  • Excellent telephone manner and communication skills




  • Eager to take on new challenges and use initiative in problem solving




  • Proactive team player




  • Calm under pressure
