We are recruiting two individuals to join our client’s Procurement team, based in Weybridge.

Our client, a leading and global electronics company, are seeking a Procurement Assistant and a Procurement Team Leader to come onboard, initially for 12 months.



Their Head Office is based in Korea and therefore it is essential for these individuals to be fluent in Korean.



Procurement Team Leader

£50,000 to £65,000



  • Lead Procurement team which is responsible for procurement process, linking operations in Korea and Europe.


  • To provide an efficient service through handling of all aspects of the procurement process.


  • To liaise with requestors (Sales and All Department in the company) to understand requirements and purpose of purchase.


  • To source, request, negotiate and compare prices, terms and conditions on material, service and maintenance from local and overseas vendors


  • To liaise with System Request PIC from All Department to process cost in system, ensure timely and accurate manner in Purchase Order issuance and acceptance from vendors.


  • To Process vendor contract with Legal Team and Vendors for new and renewal projects.


  • Timely feedback on vendor commitment issues. Work with requestor and vendor for quick resolution and minimize impact to customer. Escalation to Management then needed.


  • To track invoicing and check payments ensuring that no backlogs are created. To reconcile contracts, invoices etc. before passing to the finance department.


  • To liaise with HQ Procurement on quotation comparison (Specification & price) for demand forecast related projects. To ensure price used is the most competitive.


  • To develop key commodity knowledge, assisting in the collection of purchasing and supply market data and for the recording and updating reports, files and publications.


  • Constant check to ensure all request and process complies with Procurement SOP. Report noncompliance cases to Management.


  • New Vendor Setup (Justify use of vendor, system registration & training on vendor portal)


  • Vendor evaluation (Periodic vendor evaluation: Financial status, quality check and etc.)


  • Resolve system issues with ERP Operation team and System Request PIC relating to the corporate procurement system


  • Ad-hoc duties from management and menagerie work such as educating team members, setting-up and fulfilling the MBO & KPIs


 

Procurement Assistant

£24,000 to £32,000



  • Purchase office Asset, accessories and services.


  • Communicate with suppliers and get quotations, create PO on SAP system and process Invoices for payment based on company’s rules.


  • Purchase goods, materials, components and services in line with specified cost, quality and delivery targets


  • Raising PO’s to suppliers


  • Contact suppliers to resolve price, quality, delivery or invoice issues


  • Handling Invoices from suppliers through SAP System


  • General admin works in Procurement Department
