The Role: Permanent, Full time
Hours:Monday – Friday
Salary: Up to £18 per hour - Dependent on experience (can be negotiable)
MIG & TIG Welder Skills, experience, and qualifications required
We have a fantastic opportunity for a MIG & TIG Welder, located in the Morden area.
As a MIG & TIG Welder, you are responsible for the welding of bespoke security shutters, garage doors, bar grilles, collapsible gates, steel security doors, railings, driveway gates and bifold doors, ensuring that the end result is completed to a high-quality standard.
Role and Responsibilities:
Conduct physical inspections to assess the strength and stability of each join, reporting and correcting any faults
Operate machinery, following standard operating procedures and in a safe and efficient manner
Cutting stock material to size, to ensure efficient use of materials, to ensure good joint types
Joining metals together using specialised equipment and ensuring equipment is maintained in accordance with requirements
What will you need?
2 – 5 years+ welding experience
Candidates must be time served or apprentice trained welder
Happy to be on your feet for long periods of time
Observational skills
Attention to detail
