Description
Lloyd Recruitment Services are pleased to be working with a family run business on the outskirts of Horley who are in search of a Finance Assistant to join their growing team on a permanent basis.



As a direct result of the successful growth of the company, a new role has arisen in the Finance Dept for an experience Finance Assistant to join their team.



This opportunity would either suit someone who has 3 plus years’ experience in a varied finance role, or someone already studying looking to widen their experience by gaining exposure to a high-volume, multi-currency business environment.



What's in it for you?





  • £20,000 - £27,000 plus excellent company benefits


  • Monday – Friday 8:30am – 5:00pm

Key responsibilities:





  • You will also be involved in some ad-hoc projects including general ledger reconciliations and participation in month end closure routines


  • The finance dept provides information to meet business needs, as such a positive collaborative approach is key for all staff


  • The role will come with direct on-the-job training and support with the potential to expand the role into other areas of the finance function over time to continue your training and development needs as appropriate


  • Bank, credit card and petty cash entry and reconciliations


  • Purchase ledger entry, reconciliation and managing the deposit account process


  • Sales ledger reconciliations and aged debt management


  • High volumes of data entry




Helpful but not essential experience of:





  • Experience of systems not essential but the following basic traits are considered highly desirable


  • Sage experience


  • Intermedia to advanced Excel


  • Numerate, detail oriented, diligent, reliable, organised individual capable of working independently and resolving problems


  • Bookkeeping


  • VAT
