Description
Transport / Flight Coordinator

 

You’ll be working alongside 4 teams, ensuring that each and every customer is supported fully, by coordinating transport and travel arrangements via internal contacts as well as external suppliers.  Main duties will cover:



  • Produce transport quotes – air, coach and rail


  • Manage pricing flights


  • Secure and confirm availability and bookings processes


  • Maintain accurate records for all parties on in-house system.


 

What you’ll be able to offer:



  • Proven understanding of delivering exceptional customer service


  • Experience of working within airline / travel industry supply side


  • Ability to resolve problems, work under pressure and meet deadlines


  • Ability to work under own initiative, and essentially as part of a wider team


  • Strong analytical and IT skills across Microsoft products


  • Ability to follow procedures and willingness to learn


  • Strong time management awareness and ability to prioritise workload and be highly organised


 

It’d be great if you also have:



  • Knowledge of an additional language other than English, such as French or German


  • Driving licence


  • Destination knowledge in particular Europe and USA


  • CRB certificate – all employees are required to hold a current/qualifying certificate (there is no charge for a new or updated check for the successful individual if applicable).


 

Salary / Benefits:



  • Salary: £20-25,000


  • Team incentive scheme


  • Company pension contribution (rising to 5% after 2 years)


  • 25 days holiday


  • Monday to Friday


  • Office based
