Our client is looking for a receptionist to join their medical practise where you will be the first point of contact for all queries from patients and other medical professionals.
We are looking for an individual with previous front of house reception experience, although a medical background would be an advantage.
This is a temporary position with an immediate start to the right candidate.
Working hours are fully flexible, we have full and part time available and can ensure the shift times suit you.
Duties will include:
As a medical receptionist your main role will be to be the first point of contact for patients ensuring they are put at ease and listened to, you will book appointments accordingly on the phone, face to face as well using the online system. A big part of your role will be to work closely with the doctors to ensure the surgery runs smoothly, rooms are readily available, files up to date and appointments run on time.
The Individual:
Friendly and approachable with excellent telephone manner
Ability to work well under pressure and to a high standard
Previous experience in a receptionist/secretary role is a must
Previous experience as a GP receptionist would be an advantage
