Are you an experienced receptionist looking for a part time role?

 

If so, we may have the role for you...

 

We are currently looking for a Medical Receptionist to join a busy, friendly team based in Dorking on a part time basis.

 

You will be required to work 20.5 hours per week – All day on Fridays from 8am to 6pm, and the rest of the hours can be made up over 2 days to suit you at 5.5 hrs each.

 

Paying £10 - £10.50ph depending on experience.

 

As a Medical Receptionist your main role will be to be the first point of contact for patients ensuring they are put at ease and listened to, you will book appointments accordingly on the phone, face to face as well using the online system. A big part of your role will be to work closely with the doctors to ensure the surgery runs smoothly, rooms are readily available, files up to date and appointments run on time.

 

Ideal candidate:



  • Friendly and approachable with excellent telephone manner


  • Ability to work well under pressure and to a high standard


  • Ability to retain information and record to a high level


  • Previous experience in a receptionist/secretary role is a must


  • Previous experience as a GP receptionist would be an advantage
