Description
Job Title: Administrative Assistant

Hours: Mon – Friday 8:30 to 5:30pm plus a Saturday 8:30 – 12:30pm (1 in 4)

Salary: £22K - £24k per annum (depending on experience)

 

With Christmas rapidly approaching, and the cost of almost everything rising, you might be in need of finding a new role as soon as possible for presents.

 

We promise that you’d look forward to getting into the office each morning and working in this really friendly, busy, expanding team. Although they are a small independent business, it’s growing in size, and it’s a great time to join, especially before the Christmas party season starts.

 

You’ll be working alongside the Office Manager, who will encourage you to become completely involved in all areas of the everyday operations of the office on a day to day basis:



  • Meeting and greeting customers both face to face and over the phone


  • Updating internal systems with any changes or modifications to current plans; coordinating with manufacturers on orders that need to be made, or still pending and updating clients and colleagues accordingly


  • Generating invoices and collecting payments from extremely happy clients




Key skills you’ll be able to offer:



  • A strong work ethic, where initiative and juggling tasks comes as second nature to you!


  • The want to work as a member of a small, tight-knit team, who depend on one another to meet deadlines and client expectations


  • Strong IT skills, including working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel


  • Familiar with Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Twitter, and Snapchat (all or happy to learn those you don’t know), to help the company grow its social media presence.
