- Lloyd Recruitment Services are pleased to be working with a reputable business on the outskirts of East Grinstead who are in search of a Service Manager to join their team of a full-time permanent basis.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing business who see’s year on year growth and the role of Service Manager will encompass the management and development side of the business.
Key duties:
To create & maintain product database- to include office stock inventory, parts list with up to-date prices & serial numbers, customer database of parts sold/on-site systems
Scheduling all works for customers
Work with supervisors to improve first visits to contracts
Using skills matrix to assign tasks
Organising a team of 10 to 12 engineers daily
To order parts for works as required
Quarterly meeting with directors to update
To order sundries for engineers as needed
Updating the internal teams with works status and updates
Chasing outstanding Qs with the customer service team
Work closely with finance team to monitor financial aspects of all jobs to calculate job profit/loss
Improve communication processes with field staff so that engineers can plan their time more efficiently
Continue to work together with Finance/Office manager to improve and update processes across the business.
Providing temporary support for customer service team with clients
Provide training to relevant staff member to take over customer accounts support/management role

Salary £32k to £35k depending on experience

Personal Specification:
Preferably has worked in service industry – water, air, gas, heating building trades – desirable but not essential
Managing engineers and their diaries
Cost analysis/planning
Managing teams – desirable but not essential
Stock / inventory management
Full UK drivers and own vehicle due to location (essential)
