Location: Portsmouth



Salary:  £21,500 per annum + benefits



Hours: 9am – 5.30pm Monday to Friday



To join our client and work as part of a small team, you will be responsible for assisting the Customer Care department with all types of data entry, including checking and reporting tasks, to help deliver a superb customer experience.



Accuracy is an absolute must to ensure that the quality of output meets exacting customer expectations. You will manage a portfolio of daily, weekly, and monthly tasks while also looking for opportunities to automate or simplify data handling wherever possible.



Success in this role will be measured primarily by the accuracy of data in the company’ core systems, as well as the contribution you make to improving their current processes and increasing customer satisfaction.



What will the role entail?



  • Prioritise data entry and checking tasks, understanding the needs and requirements of the customer and managing your workload accordingly


  • View, update and maintain bespoke IT systems, maintaining responsibility for the accuracy, confidentiality of the systems at all times


  • Approach each task in a systematic and logical manner, taking into account the most efficient but effective approach.


  • Identify and recommend improvements that will improve the customer experience.


  • Report and provide feedback on poor data entry within the department, as well as collaborate with managers to influence improvement.


  • Across the department, process and challenge exception reporting, tracking trends, and suggesting and implementing improvements.


  • Act as an expert when it comes to uploading data to their main systems, creating efficiencies within the department, and eliminating manual data entry wherever possible.
