** Permanent / Full time role ** £25,000 p/annum ** Parking on site ** Corporate Benefits ** Mon – Fri ** 08.30am until 4.30pm **
Great opportunity to work for a global organisation, within their busy inbound and dispatch manufacturing and procurement stores areas.
You’ll be providing an efficient service to both internal and external customers, under the supervision of the Stores Controller.
You’ll be required to ensure that all incoming/dispatched goods are processed efficiently and accurately, to ensure minimal disruption for the clients.
Preference will be given to applicants who hold a current forklift truck licence (ability to operate electric Reach & Counter-balance trucks) – retesting would be considered for the right candidate though.
Skills / Qualifications:
IT literate in Word and Excel
Minimum of 2 GCSE’s or equivalent in Maths & English
Ability to operate a computerised stock control system
Previous experience of working in a stores / warehouse environment.
Holder of current forklift truck licence - ability to operate electric Fork Truck (Reach & Counterbalance)
A full clean driving licence/own transport – due to location of company
Use of safe manual handling techniques
Personal Qualities:
Able to think safety and act safely at all times
Self-motivated and able to work effectively in a team environment
Numerically competent
Punctual and reliable
Ability to work unsupervised
Confident communicating with internal and external contacts verbally and in writing
Punctual, reliable and dependable as an individual and in a team setting
