Mon-Thurs 8-5pm, Fri 8-3pm
£30k - £45k per annum depending upon experience and qualifications

We are seeking a new Marketing Manager to join an expanding business, to complete design work in-house, be it online, printed or video and be able to do market mapping and client journey mapping.
The Role
To take over the day-to-day marketing tasks for the business, including:
Attending events, shows and exhibitions as well as taking clients to project open days.
Create and manage mailshots for targeted markets.
New business divisions specific segment research and action.
Ensure companywide branding evolves to maintain “fresh” look
Writing copy and generating content which can be published in various media.
Social media posting through our main business pages (LinkedIn, Twitter & Facebook.) – especially with new/recently won and competed projects.
Updating case study packs ready for print (InDesign)
Designing and producing print-ready artwork and designs in the house style.
Updating advertising campaigns in magazines and suggest possible new channels.
Help implement current design best practice into the business for internal communications.
Compiling and sending monthly email newsletter to our subscribers based on new stories on the website.
Produce infographics, charts and diagrams to support the Sales team
Strategic work / projects:
You’ll be involved in sector specific research and development, which will ensure that they remain at the top of their game, and a recognised name within both local and government bodies.

Set and manage the annual marketing budget.
Track and analyse the performance of advertising campaigns and adjust accordingly.
Desired skills and experience:
You will be a self-motivated with a keen interest in content creation and marketing with a desire to learn elements of a technically complex engineering subject. You will work with direction from the Commercial Director to produce regular marketing content. This is very much a hands-on marketing role with high levels of productivity expected.
You must have:
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
A higher-level diploma/degree in marketing/graphic design/digital design or equivalent.
The ability to write good marketing copy, assistance and training will be provided in company style.
Understanding of current design principles across digital media and print.
Understanding of social media platforms including Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn.
Experience updating and posting to websites using CMS (Joomla or Wordpress)
Knowledge of how to use AdobeCS6 suite or later. Especially, InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop.
Skills in designing layouts for print (advertising, case study packs, leaflets etc.)
A working knowledge of digital content provision and implementation including HTML, CSS and content managed websites. Training will be provided in the systems we have established, but some knowledge of HTML is essential.
