** Up to £350 per day ** Temporary Contract Until November 2022 **
We are assisting our client who are specialists in their field, who are seeking a Projects Transitions Specialist to join their team in Redhill.
The majority of your time will be spent on projects for existing pension administration clients. As a Transitions Specialist, you'll be responsible for overseeing high-profile client projects from start to finish, and you'll typically serve as the project's lead administrative contact during the delivery phase.
The ideal candidate will have a solid awareness of the various delivery streams within the pensions administration service, as well as a wide understanding of final pay pensions. You'll need to be able to coordinate and provide direction across numerous workstreams, as well as comprehend and explain complicated challenges.
The Role
Allocate and manage project workstreams
Monitor your own portfilio of projects against any agreed project plans
Be the key point of contact for the client, attending regular calls / meetings as required
Ensure that all delivery promises, and performance standards are achieved
Take responsibility for documenting procedures and establishing controls for existing schemes
Work on ad hoc client chargeable projects as required
Challenge procedures to identify process improvements and drive improvements through to completion
Identify and efficiently resolve issues and identifying solutions which will enable projects to be effectively delivered in accordance with client requirements
Build on outputs from post project reviews and other sources to drive project delivery improvements across workstreams
Assist and train junior project team members
Provide an efficient, professional service to meet all client/members' needs
On a daily basis be the main contact for an agreed list of projects and maintain and develop client relationships.
Be a point of reference for technical issues and project related queries
The Ideal Individual:
Experience of dealing with occupational pension schemes including DC, DB and Hybrid arrangements, as well as pension projects
Knowledge of occupational pension scheme buy ins and buy outs is an advantage
Record of demonstrating the ability to identify opportunities for improvement with subsequent delivery
Previous experience in the delivery of pensions administration services to clients and an understanding of supporting processes and systems
Concise and confident communicator of project governance aspects and issues – covering both verbal and written skills
Money purchase knowledge is also an advantage
