This is a 24/7 role working a shift pattern of four on four off
We have a number of roles available to join an expanding call handling department, where you’ll be handling a range of confidential calls from members of the public, on a variety of different subjects, and recording accurately the information provided.
These calls can range from emergency situations, to taking information from members of the public with a need to pass the details on to the emergency services.
You’ll receive a full training programme, before you’ll join your experienced colleagues within this very friendly department. So if you’re looking for a supportive team, where as a whole, you can really make a difference to the community, this is the right job for you.
The role:
Handling a wide range of calls from members of the public, in a sensitive and tactful manner, gaining information for onward passing to a range of professional services.
Handling confidential information in a professional manner
Processing information from website links
Skills & Experience required:
Previous experience of dealing with people on the telephone
Ability to handle sometimes difficult calls and to reassure distressed callers.
Confident and mature approach to probe further with relevant questions to maximise information gathered.
Articulate, confident telephone manner
Ability to process information whilst retaining confidentiality
PC literate with the ability to learn new systems
