** Temporary Assignment ** £40K to £55K DOE **
This is a fabulous opportunity to be a part of a reputable, nationwide business, who are recruiting a Payroll Manager on a 6 month contract.
The overall aim is to provide a comprehensive payroll, pension, and expenses service to the business.
You will:
Maintain the group payroll by ensuring compliance with all tax and statutory requirements and deadlines.
Process the group pensions ensuring compliance with Pension Regulator and deadlines.
Be responsible for processing of all the group expenses.
Develop relationships with sector managers and employees, establishing professional credibility.
Respond to queries quickly and professionally.
Liaise with external bodies, including the Group’s auditors and tax representatives.
Ensure that the payroll data is maintained and kept up to date.
Work to tight monthly and annual processing deadlines, ensuring that confidentiality and security are maintained
Duties:
Enter starters/leavers and changes of Terms Conditions.
Process overtime payments.
Maintain and process sickness payments
Reconcile payroll balances to the general ledger balances
Process payroll year end tasks, including P60’s and P35.
Discuss unusual or complex matters with the Manager’s
Process of pension
Add and update members information
Answer member helpline calls/emails
Manage Payroll/Pension & Expenses mailboxes
Maintain and process expenses
