We are seeking
An experienced HR Assistant or ideally an HR Advisor to work alongside the HR Manager of an established company with links to the health and care sectors.
Someone who’ll be responsible for delivering an HR advisory service, coaching managers on HR best practice, supporting with the implementation of the HR strategy, and making recommendations for continuous improvements.
An individual keen to actively support the Company in providing advice, guidance and coaching on HR policies and procedures, employee engagement, retention strategies, and delivering an effective, efficient, and professional HR Service.
Key Responsibilities
Providing advice and guidance across the full spectrum of ER issues, particularly discipline, grievance, capability/performance management and sickness.
Proactively managing ER cases.
Supporting Head of HR with employee engagement initiatives.
Mentoring our People Managers, providing supportive guidance on cases.
Maintaining best practice HR policies and procedures that comply fully with statutory requirements.
Conduct enhanced DBS checks and RTW checks.
Assisting Head of HR with delivery of people management training.
Experience / Skills
Experience of successfully managing a range of ER issues including complex cases, plus experience in the design and application of company HR policy and procedures
A calm, professional, and sensitive approach to all cases whilst maintaining excellent relationship management skills.
Able to adapt to evolving priorities.
A problem-solving mind-set with strong awareness of ethics and integrity.
