£24k p/rata / 12,500 for 6 month contract initially
Mondayto Friday only
Flex working 8am-6pm (eg 8-4.30/10-6)
Opportunity to work hybrid, following full training
Sales Ledger Credit Controller sought to join small, busy and extremely welcoming finance team in Reigate.
Key Responsibilities:
Liaising with their clients to collect any outstanding debt in line with payment terms.
Monitoring payment promises and following up within timescales to achieve settlement of sales invoices.
Obtaining payment dates and approval of invoices from clients
Resolving queries quickly and accurately to minimise payment delays
Updating aged debt workbooks with clear commentsfor others to refer to at anytime
Daily allocation of receipts and credit notes to invoices
Running the billing processes within deadline, including a 'final check’ to ensure that all bookings have been added correctly, raising and sending sales invoices
Sending client statements, at least monthly and on request from clients
Running credit checks and updating client records to accurately reflect credit limits.
Mitigating risk to acceptable levels using credit insurance and effective credit control
Raise, issue and allocate credit notes after appropriate authorisation
Assist with the year-end audit activities
Requirements
Happy working in a small but busy team environment
Experience of credit control, sales ledger and billing processes
Exposure to credit insuranceactivities beneficial
Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines
Good keyboard & IT skills and specifically strong Excel abilities
Ability to work unsupervised and as part of a team
