- Lloyd Recruitment Services are pleased to be working with an award-winning professional services firm in the Crawley area who are in search on an IT Support Technician to join their team on a full-time permanent basis.
The overall IT support service consists of distinct in-house and outsourced IT resources. The person who fulfils this role would be critical for ensuring the business and its users receive a consistently high-quality service. There will also be plenty of ‘hands on’ work, mostly focused around laptop and desktop support along with some relevant administrative responsibilities.
Our client is currently undergoing a major software modernisation programme, including upgrades to Windows 10, Office 365, core legal software (Aderant and iManage) and other applications. The IT Support Technician will be helping to maintain a quality IT Support service throughout this period will be a key objective of the role.

Responsibilities and duties
Coordinate numerous third-party providers and internal resources to ensure a consistently high-quality IT Support service
Ensure business processes with a dependency on IT run smoothly (e.g., new starters)
Onsite hardware support
Monitor IT provider support portal queue and escalate issues as appropriate
Assist the third-party IT provider in resolving software issues
Basic Telephone system administration
Maintain asset register
Troubleshoot printing issues
General IT related administration
Assist with IT projects and rollouts
Knowledge, skills and experience required
Experience supporting Windows 10 devices and laptops
Experience coordinating internal and external resources to achieve satisfactory service levels
Basic networking skills
Experience and technical knowledge of the following is desirable:
Citrix
Skills in Word styles, macros and templates
Smartphones
Any professions services IT experience would be advantageous
Excellent written and oral communication and interpersonal skills
An organised and methodical approach to problem solving
Awareness of the importance of adherence to IT and information security policies, procedures and best practice
NB: The role is a 37.5 hour week (08:45-17:15 or 09:00-17:30). The individual must be able on occasion to work out of the normal hours, so as to minimise disruption to the system in working hours and must be willing to occasionally travel to their offices across the Southeast.
