** Salary 50-55k ** Onsite Parking **
We are really pleased to be partnering with an established Technology based SME, who are recruiting a General Manager to undertake both Operational and Accounting duties for the business.
This role sites in the management team and you’ll be involved with the development of the company and team strategy moving forward.
You’ll also be responsible for overseeing the client experience from start to finish, continuously looking at how to improve and develop the process and maintain a great business reputation at all stages.
Duties:
Managing the operational and support services team to ensure smooth and proactive delivery of all projects (including overseeing of procurement and purchasing).
VAT, EC Sales, end-to-end payroll, pensions, company benefits, HR and record keeping
HMRC compliance
Accounting: reconciliation, posting journals, and day-to-day accounts (including year-end)
Monthly payment run preparation
Overseeing accounting and financial reporting of the business
Developing and implementing processes, driving forwards more efficiency throughout all departments
Risk assessments and method statements
Preparation of reports (financial, operational and technical)
Overseeing of office management and health and safety of all employees
Responsible for attraction, recruitment, and retention of employees
Responsible for employee progression and training needs
Manage profitability of the company and improve profit margins by negotiation with suppliers
Negotiate contracts and rebates with suppliers, develop and maintain key supplier relationships
Manage company projects – booking, planning and overseeing the various stages
Identify business opportunities, strengths, weaknesses, and threats and implement solutions
Manage vehicle fleet – insurances, tax, services and MOTs
Profit calculations for commission payments
Manage maintenance renewals database
Build and maintain relationships with key suppliers and clients
