A clean driving licence will be required for this role, in line with the company’s insurance requirements.
This role requires overnight and multi-night stay overs, up to 50% of the working week.
Job Description
We are looking for a junior Heating Engineer / Plumber preferably you will have NVQ Level 1 or 2 in Plumbing
Working as part of a two-man installation team, under the direction of a lead heating engineer initially until fully qualified to work alone.
Jobs will cover larger domestic properties to higher-end commercial jobs.
Happy working in various roles – pipe fitting, lagging, filling, heat pumps, boiler systems including fuel stores, ventilation, flues, groundworks, manifolds and chambers.
Likely to be working with 28mm to 54mm and larger in copper and steel.
Skills & Experience
Good knowledge of UK Building and Water Regulations and to comply with them
Understanding of flushing, inhibitors, additives needed for heating systems.
Ability to prepare for a job by checking and preparing: tools reserved, signed out and returned as needed), van stock, time required
Experience in pipe fitting and heating engineering
CSCS qualifications
Experience in renewable, construction and gas industries

Salary will depend on the experience the successful candidate offers
