- Lloyd Recruitment Services are pleased to be working with a global engineering company in the Uckfield area who are looking to recruit a Data Support Assistant to join their team.
 
 Working closely with Data Manager and other stakeholders within the business to maintain the data platform for accurate MI reporting. You will need to have gained professional experience in a hands-on data role where you have made contribution on data management and reporting.
 
 In this role you will be engaged in the migration of data from multiple sources systems into target systems and assist ongoing data management and entry of data into the ecosystem. You will maintain the integrity and accuracy of the data. You will also deliver ad-hoc reporting as required by the business on internal data producing insights in the required format, e.g. tabulations, visualisations, dashboards, etc.

 Working hours: 8.30 – 17.00 with 45 min for lunch, shorter day on Friday – 8.30 – 15.45

 Key Responsibilities:
 
 
 Managing master data, including creation, updates, and deletion
 Analyse, extract, organise and prepare data from sources systems for migration to target systems
 Facilitate data driven decision making across the organisation
 Troubleshoot data related issues
 Any other additional work, responsibilities and duties for the Company or any Group Company within the role holder’s capacity in accordance with their skills and capabilities as allocated by the Line Manager
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 Experience / Knowledge:
 
 
 Processing high volumes of data accurately and efficiently
 The ability to manage delivery of work within stated timeframes
 Transform data in Excel (e.g., VLOOKUP, pivot etc)
 Maintain data integrity for accurate MI reporting
 Carryout cleansing exercise to rectify inaccurate records
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 Competencies / Abilities:
 
 
 Excellent interpersonal skills: ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team
 Ability to work collaboratively
 Understand the importance of data driven decisions
 Have an excellent eye for detail
 Be organised and methodical in their approach to work
 Advanced Excel skills, including writing formulae, transformation of data and cleansing of data
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 Desirable Criteria
 
 
 Experience of visualising and presenting data in BI tools, particularly PowerBI
 Strong knowledge of common statistical methods
 Having experience in Microsoft D365 CDS application is advantageous
