** Mon – Friday 08.30 to 17.30 and Saturday 08.30 -12.30 (On a Rota) ** Redhill **
Lloyd Recruitment are pleased to be working with a well-established company, who are recruiting a Diagnostic Technician to their workshop.
All training will be provided in-house in their bespoke and specialist field. This means they will welcome candidates without any previous experience in the motor industry. However, they do need to be keen to learn new skills and adapt their learning techniques within the motor industry.
This role would be suited to someone:
With a logical thought process.
A team player, with the confidence to ask questions and learn through practical application.
The candidate can draw on their analytical, creative and academic skills that are essential for problem solving and identify solutions for the practical and technical nature of our business.
A full, clean driving license is essential.
Duties of a Diagnostic Technician:
To carry out diagnosis and repairs in the required time frame, reporting to the workshop manager.
Recording details of vehicles diagnosis, repairs and time spent using internal database.
Communicate repairs to office staff and advise of timings, repair and cost.
Ensure parts used are replenished, advising workshop manager on stock levels.
Compliance with workshop Health & Safety.
Effective use of time management for repairs to customer’s vehicles – liaise with office to coordinate & prioritise customer repairs.
