- Lloyd Recruitment Services are working with a leading engineering company in the East Grinstead area who are looking for a Purchasing Coordinator to join their busy and growing team on a fulltime permanent basis.

Salary £20,000 - £26,000 depending on experience, applicants from junior to experienced level will be considered for this role
25 days annual leave plus bank holidays (33 days leave total)
Working hours 8am - 5pm Monday to Thursday and 8am - 12:30pm on a Friday

The role
As the Purchasing Coordinator / Administrator, you will be dealing with all aspects of buying supplies for the company. This role will involve negotiating prices, building relationships with suppliers, checking stock levels and ensuring on time delivery of required purchases.
Responsibilities:
Checking stock levels to minimise shortages
Verifying price and delivery time with suppliers and ensuring that all procured materials meet quality, delivery and cost targets
Continually look to cost save across the business
Working with Management to ensure timescales can be met
Maintaining and updating the system to provide accurate data
Answering phones and responding to correspondence via email
Communicating any issues to management
Chasing late supplier orders
Essential Skills & Experience:
Experience in a similar role, however, will consider candidates with a solid admin background (must have good numerical experience)
Attention to detail
Excellent planning, organising and time management skills
Clear communicator with strong negotiation skills
Salary £20,000 - £26,000 DOE
